Em cada lugar que passamos com o nosso DDG4 (o Dani & Debora Gurgel Quarteto), um pedido ecoa: as partituras! Esta coleção é a resposta.

No volume principal estão as partituras-guia das composições (as lead sheets), as histórias de como elas foram compostas e como mudaram durante os ensaios com as contribuições dos quatro, as explicações de como chegamos naquelas ideias e um breve histórico dos ritmos brasileiros utilizados em cada música e das ideias que nortearam as composições e os arranjos. Também inclui a biblioteca de cifras e o CD com o álbum completo.
Nos livros específicos dos instrumentos, estão explicações mais detalhadas sobre a interpretação e o encaixe de cada um na sonoridade do quarteto, além das transcrições completas (sim, incluindo os solos!). Acompanham os livros dos instrumentos as versões de playback do álbum, com todos eles menos aquele que é tema do livro. Assim você pode tocar junto com a gente pra testar a sua interpretação do que tem aqui.

Com essa coleção, queremos dividir com você como a nossa música é construída, a partir da desconstrução deste disco. E queremos a sua réplica: que você toque, toque e toque mais ainda: nas Escolas, Conservatórios e Universidades; na sua banda ou na sala da sua casa.

Everywhere we go with our DDG4 (Dani & Debora Gurgel Quarteto), a request echoes: sheet music! This collection is our answer.

The main volume includes the lead sheets, the stories on how the music was composed and how it changed during the rehearsals with contributions from all four of us, the explanations on how we got to those ideas, a brief history of the Brazilian rhythms used in each song and the ideas that guided the compositions and arrangements. Also included is a chord library and a CD with the full album audio.
The instrument-specific books include more detailed explanations on the interpretation and fitting of each one into the quartet, in addition to the complete transcriptions (yes, including the solos!). Accompanying the instrument books are play-along versions of the album, with all instruments except for the one which is subject of the book. This means you can play along with us to test your interpretation of what you have read in the book.

With this collection, we want to share with you how our music is constructed, based on the deconstruction of this album. We want you in on this: may you play, play and play some more: in Schools, Conservatories and Universities; in your band or in your home living room.
